Call me Ishmael.
That’s how the story begins. A man who needed the sea—not just for adventure, but to survive the weight of the world on land. He signs up for a whaling ship. Ends up in the belly of chaos. And somehow… lives to tell the tale.
That’s kind of where I’ve been.
No whales. But life? Yes. A few storms, some quiet moments, and a whole lot of fixing—mostly my health, some of my habits, and how I want to show up in the world.
While I was out there, somewhere in the fog, startups found me again. Or maybe I found them. Either way, we’re up and going again. It’s messy. It’s wild. It’s exactly what I needed.
So, I’m back here. Writing. Sharing. This newsletter is my little lifeboat—where I’ll drop stories from the edge. What’s working. What’s not. The good. The hard. The funny.
If you’re building something, rebuilding yourself, or just curious about how it all fits together—stick around.
There’s more to come.
BTW, hope you like the new name of newsletter, Scratch Works.
